Questions to ask your doctor
When discussing migraine headache treatments with your doctor, it helps to be prepared with questions to ask.

  • Are there specific steps I can take to help manage migraine headaches that last longer than a day or that return?
  • What's the difference between Menstrual Migraine and migraines that occur at other times of the month?
  • Do the normal monthly changes in my hormone levels have anything to do with causing Menstrual Migraines?
  • What can I do to keep the migraines that occur around my period from coming back?
  • I have tried many different ways to treat the migraine pain that occurs around my period (tell your doctor about all the medications you've taken, over-the-counter and prescription). What else can I do to get relief?

Questions to ask yourself
If you say yes to any of the following questions, you could be a candidate for FROVA®:

  • Do my migraines come back in a few hours after I've felt initial relief?
  • Do I need to take my medicine more than once per day?
  • Am I taking over-the-counter migraine medicine with a prescription migraine medication?
  • Do I want relief from my migraine that can last up to 24 hours?

You can also track your migraines to help your doctor understand the patterns of migraine and the types of pain that you experience.
